TRAUMA THERAPY IN CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA

Making sense of trauma

Pain can become understandable, navigable, and eventually no longer be in charge.

Trauma shows up in your thoughts, emotions, body, relationships, and the way you move through the world. Over time, it can become heavy. Together we'll work to understand it, process it, and transform what once felt like a terrifying story into an old, boring story.

Who I help

A place for thoughtful, careful work.

Living in the aftermath of trauma can feel like trying to find a way on a path with no map or guidance—confusing and disorienting. You don’t have to figure it out alone anymore. We'll slow down enough to notice what has been difficult to see, make sense of what has felt confusing, and work at a pace your nervous system can tolerate.

Trauma Treatment

I help adults and helping professionals navigate the lasting effects of trauma through thoughtful, nervous system-informed therapy. My approach integrates EMDR, somatic psychotherapy, and parts work to help people understand their experiences and move toward lasting change.

I don't believe therapy is about forcing change. I believe that people naturally move toward resolution when they have enough safety to slow down, understand what their mind and body have been trying to communicate, and trust the process rather than fight it. My role is to offer careful guidance while your mind and body do the work they were always meant to do.
