Individual Therapy
Our experiences can continue to shape our emotions, relationships, body, and sense of self long after the circumstances themselves have passed.
My approach integrates several evidence-informed modalities because no single approach fits every person or every stage of therapy.
Depending on your goals and what feels most helpful, our work may include traditional talk therapy, EMDR, somatic therapy, and parts work. Together these approaches help us make sense of your experiences while creating meaningful and lasting change.

Safety is not the opposite of depth. It is how depth becomes possible.

Rather than simply talking about difficult memories, EMDR helps the brain reprocess them, so they become less distressing and no longer feel as if they are happening in the present. Many people appreciate that EMDR often involves less talking than traditional therapy.Read more
One part knows what’s healthy, while another feels overwhelmed or afraid. Rather than trying to get rid of these different parts, we become curious about them, understand the roles they developed over time, and help them work together more effectively. This approach is especially helpful for trauma, inner conflict, emotional regulation, and dissociation.Read more
Somatic therapy brings attention to what is happening in the body in the present moment, including patterns of tension, activation, shutdown, and protection. Learning to notice and work with these responses can create greater capacity for regulation, safety, and flexibility.Rather than forcing a particular modality because ‘it works,’ we will find what fits best based on your unique history, goals, needs and readiness.
