Welcome.
I'm glad you're here.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in trauma, complex trauma, and dissociation. I've worked in the field of social work since 2015 across child welfare, foster care, trauma treatment, and private practice.

Before entering private practice, I worked in several different settings and with people facing very different kinds of adversity. Those experiences reinforced an idea that continues to shape my work today: trauma rarely looks the way people expect. Sometimes it is obvious. More often, it quietly influences how we relate to ourselves, to others, and to the world long after the original events have passed.

Safety is not the opposite of depth. It is how depth becomes possible.

My philosophy

Over the years, I've become deeply interested in understanding how trauma leaves its imprint not only on our thoughts and emotions, but on our bodies, relationships, and the ways we move through the world. I'm continually drawn to questions about how people adapt to overwhelming experiences, what allows some to recover while others continue to struggle, and what conditions make meaningful change possible. Those questions continue to shape the way I work with every client. Understanding how your mind and body adapted often tells us far more than only focusing on what's wrong.

I don't believe there are quick fixes or one-size-fits-all answers. Life can leave a profound mark on us. Acknowledging the impact and understanding it opens the possibility of responding differently in the present.

I do believe that when we understand how a person's experiences have shaped the way they think, feel, relate, and respond to the world, meaningful change becomes far more possible.
